All-purpose flour (2 Tbsp for peaches, 1 cup for crisp)
3/4 cup Rolled oats
Brown Sugar (1/4 cup for peaches, 1/4 cup for crisp)
White Sugar (1 Tbsp for peaches, 1/2 cup for crisp)
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cinnamon
Salt
1/4-1/2 cup chopped Pecans (optional!)
Vanilla (1/4 tsp for peaches, 1 tsp for crisp)
1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted)
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Slice 4-6 large peaches. Chop pecans. Place in bowl together.
Add 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 Tbsp white sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, a dash of salt, and 2 Tbsp flour to the bowl of peaches and pecans. Mix well and set aside.
In a separate bowl, melt butter. Add 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, the oats, and a dash of salt. Mix together until you have a damp sand consistency.
Prepare a small to medium sized greased baking pan. Place peach mixture in the pan. Then sprinkle the crisp on top.
Cook for 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are bubbling and the crisp is golden brown.
Remove from oven. Cool for 5 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream!
